THEATRE UNCUT: APATHY

Created by The Company

"Theatre Uncut isn't just a performance, it's an idea: that theatre can be immediately responsive to world events, engender discussion and effect change." (Lyn Gardner)

Poleroid Theatre, in association with the MolinoGroup, presents an original performance inspired by Chris Goode's 'APATHY'.

This new piece, commissioned by Theatre Uncut to mark the 2015 UK General Election, was directed by the award winning Bethany Pitts and created by some of the UK's top emerging talent.

Poleroid are working with an ensemble of actors, writers and other artists over 72 hours to devise a unique response to this exciting new commission centring on the apathetic approach to voting from 18 - 24 year olds as they are able to vote in their first general election.

With special thanks to Chris Goode for the provocations, Paines Plough, Stewart Pringle and the Camden Collective.
